Another weekend has come and with that, a chance of glory or despair. For many it has been nothing but despair so far but behind every grey cloud is a silver lining (except for Will Rymer and Keith Butler, all hope is lost for ye). There is racing action this week down in Fermoy or in Stamullen. For those staying close to home we have two top quality club cycles to attend with some lovely weather expected too. A 99 stop could be on the cards if the Gleesons have their way!
Saturday: meet at 9:00 at the hotel.
Route: we will head over to Roscrea – Templemore – Borrisokane – Templederry – Dolla and back to Nenagh. The racing group should head over to Thurles at Templederry. Try to finish the interval session strong. The interval finishes in Dolla. If racing, take it easy and join the first group.
Sunday: meet at 7:30 at Tescos.
Route: we will down Tipperary town way for a change of scenery. It’s been a while so pack some sandwiches and a flask cos it’ going to be a long one (hence the slightly earlier start). The group will probably split in two in Tipperary town.
Sunday Racing: we expect most of our racers to head down to Fermoy on Sunday. This course is pretty flat so a bunch finish should be pretty easy. Getting into the points will be the tricky thing. Best of luck to all that go.
