Weekly update

That was the last week in the winter schedule and what a way to end it with the usual mix of low temperatures and wet conditions, which again affected the planned training weekend!!! Thank you to all members who attended the sessions and hopefully from here the weather will be a bit more kind to us!!!

Summer schedule

This week is the first week of the summer schedule. With the bank holiday it is a shortened week but over the next few weeks a new training schedule will be put in motion. The main changes will see a change to the run session, start of the Summer cycling league, and the introduction of a triathlon specific session. Below is the current draft of the sessions that will be on offer over the next few months

Club week 11-17th April:

As previously mentioned we have planned a number of events in the lead up to the North Tipp sprint. We have put together a draft of the current events scheduled and this can be seen below. We hope to see as  many members and non-members taking part in these events and will give more detail on each event in the coming weeks.  Any questions etc can be emailed to info@nenaghtriathlonclub.com

 Weekly training

This is the first week of the summer schedule and with the bank holiday it is a shorter week. Running will take a break for the week but will be back with a bang next week. Thursday will see the first time the club hit the Limerick road for the summer cycling series so if you are free then make sure to turn up for this from the start!!!

Swimming sessions: All training sessions will also now be included in the training session tab on the site so can be monitored for progress. Swimming training tab

2 morning session this week. Tuesday morning is a medium distance set while Thursday is a power set. Shorter versions for the novice lane will be supplied on the morning and will cover 1-1.5k

No running session this week due to the bank holiday. Run sessions will recommence next Monday evening (April 4th) at 6.30pm.

The running sessions from now on will take place in NENAGH CBS TRACK!!!!
