Weekly Schedule

Weekly schedule: 

Another wet week but apart from the usual cancellation to the weekend cycles, the other sessions ran well.

The weather conditions were perfect this morning for the Turkey run and with 3 distances to choose from there was something to offer everyone. We had a great turn out from the club with 20 club runners undertaking the event so well done to all!!!  We intend to target a number of other races in the New year so will keep you posted on that one!

This week is the final week of official run and swim sessions before the Christmas break so hopefully numbers will continue as they have been prior to this!!


Novice run and bike sessions:

This week there were more runners at the novice session than the main session which was great to see. The coming week will be the last novice run session so hopefully everyone who has attended has found them of value. We will continue these sessions in the new year and will update on the format of this during the Christmas break.

The novice cycle was again postponed on account of the rain. We will attempt to have one more go prior to the Christmas break so again… this space!!

Swimming sessions: 2  morning sessions this week. Tuesday will be a short interval set while Thursday is our aerobic distance interval session.  Again a reminder that the session has moved and is now a START TIME  6.30!!!!!!



Running session: 1 session this week, a 600m session. The novice run will be taking place at the same time and will be a shorter set similar to last week.

Day Morning Evening
 Monday  Circuit training: 7 to 8pm in running complex
Tuesday Morning Swim – 6:30 – 7:30 – Pool Cycling: Turbo training in running complex from 7:30 – 8:30pmJunior CC  Turbo from 6 to 7 in complex
Wednesday Swim: 8:00pm in Nenagh Leisure Centre – suitable for beginners.
Thursday Morning Swim – 6:30 – 7:30 – Pool Running: interval based run set starts at 6:30pm at the Tech (Nenagh College). Novice Run: 6:30pm at the Tech (Nenagh College)
Saturday Main Club Cycle – 9am – Abbey Court Hotel.Novice Cycle: 11am – Abbey Court Junior CC training – every 2nd Saturday 2.30

Sunday              Ras training group cycle (advanced cyclists) – 8am Tescos
