Weekly Schedule

Weekly schedule: 

Not a great week with the wind and rain that was around but well done to all for braving the weather and making the sessions worthwhile. Only a few more weeks before the Christmas break so keep it up!!!

Novice run and bike sessions:

We had the first of our novice sessions this week with 6 brave souls taking part in the run session along with the more experienced crew. The pace was kept constant and overall completed 6k during the session so well done to all who attended. We will be undertaking a similar type session this coming week so anyone who wishes to attend is more than welcome.

Unfortunately, due to the adverse weather conditions the cycle on Saturday did not take place but weather permitting we will be able to start this coming weekend.

Both these sessions are open to all, both members and non-members who wish to improve their running and cycling, so if you know anyone who might be interested then let them know!!

Brick session:

Again, due to the adverse weather the brick session was put on hold. We hope to run one more session before the break and will see what the weather is like for later in the week before making a decision on this weekend. We will keep you informed of developments.

Swimming sessions: 2  morning sessions this week. Tuesday will be a short high intensity set while Thursday is aerobic capacity work



Running session: 1 session this week, a 1k repeat rep session. The novice run will be taking place at the same time and will be largely similar to the 1k repeats last week. All welcome.

 Monday  Circuit training: 7 to 8pm in running complex
Tuesday Morning Swim – 6:40 – 7:30 – Pool Cycling: Turbo training in running complex from 7:30 – 8:30pmJunior CC  Turbo from 6 to 7 in complex
Wednesday Swim: 8:00pm in Nenagh Leisure Centre – suitable for beginners.
Thursday Morning Swim – 6:40 – 7:30 – Pool Running: interval based run set starts at 6:30pm at the Tech (Nenagh College). Novice Run: 6:30pm at the Tech (Nenagh College)
Saturday Main Club Cycle – 9am – Abbey Court Hotel.Novice Cycle: 11am – Abbey Court Junior CC training – every 2nd Saturday 2.30

Sunday              Ras training group cycle (advanced cyclists) – 8am Tescos
