There are plenty of options for people looking to get out training this weekend.
Saturday Cycle: Our usual Saturday spin begins at 9:00am from the hotel. The route is below – Nenagh – Roscrea – Birr – Borrisokane – Nenagh. With quite a few off racing in Broadford on Saturday it will be up to those remaining to make sure that the session is a quality one. You know what is expected on each route we do so split the group in two and do your interval work. Put in a good effort and try to keep the average speed close to 19mph for the cycle.
Saturday Racing: 10 club members are heading to Broadford in Limerick. Many will be making their racing debuts so the club wishes you all the best. Bring home some points!
Sunday Duathlon: the first of our Dromineer Duathlons takes place this Sunday at 11:00 out in Dromineer. These duathlons are perfect for getting your body in shape for the upcoming triathlon season. This session is not to be missed by anyone looking to do the North Tipp Sprint in April. Arrive early to get your gear ready. Some lads will be out there at 10:00 to do a little bit extra.
Sunday Racing: another large crowd from the club will be taking part in a second, hillier race in Broadford on Sunday. The ‘team bus’ will be heading to this so if you need a lift then get in contact.
Sunday Club Cycle: with two races on Sunday it is unlikely that this club cycle will go ahead. We will give an update on the situation on Saturday.
