With all this mild weather you’d be tempted to dip the toes into youghal…..!! If not, then we will stick to the warmer waters in the pool. Saturday cycles are still going strong with a few intermittent showers scuppering the schedule now and then. As for the running, the Dromin Rd has wear patterns from all the feet pounding the pavement. So what’s it all for?
Triathlon season is no longer 6 months away! The North Tipp Sprint is in sight with just 2 months to go but there are plenty of duathlons underway before then such as Ennis this Sunday.
Nenagh Triathlon Club is proud to be part of a new, exciting triathlon race series in 2019: The Tri Munster League. The Lough Derg Sprint will be one of nine select races in the league. The league is open to athletes registered to an affiliated Triathlon Ireland club only. Points will be awarded for finishing (based on race distance) as well as your finishing place.
Your top four races to score. Cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the league to the top 3 male and top 3 female points scorers as well as the top male and top female age group (10 year groups) points scorer.
Additionally there will be a Club Cup trophy presented to the Club with the most points taken from their top four athletes (two male, two female).
Both the LDS and NTS are both open to enter so get registering!
