Training Weekend Day 2
If there was an understatement that went with this mornings session it was the viber message claiming a “teeny bit blustery but fairly dry day”……who was the fool who put that up???!!!!!
Almost 20 brave (or more likely lunatics) souls turned up for the first of this years duathlons. There was a choice of distances but with the weather conditions being so “good” everyone opted for the longer route of 4k-20k-2k, while some thought that was too short and did a second 4k run!!!!! Well done to all who took part this morning and really if you can run and cycle in that then you can compete in any event across the country!

Future Training Weekend events
That was the final part of our first training weekend and we hope that everyone who attended the sessions gained some benefit. At committee level we would like to thank everyone that took the time to attend and given the success of the weekend overall we plan to go ahead with the second such weekend sometime towards the end of March. More details on this to follow closer to the time.
As also mentioned yesterday we are planning to organise a training weekend away in Lahinch in the middle of May and will post more about this later in the week. We will need to get an idea regarding numbers who will be interested in attending but more on this later!!!!!
