Numbers are looking good for the clubs Saturday morning cycle. We had 13 members take on the route from Nenagh to Roscrea. The morning was very cold, wet and mucky however the wind was favourable. Heading towards Roscrea if felt more like a cross wind, and on the return journey we had a welcoming tail wind. A number of cyclists picked up the speed coming into Toomevara and managed to maintain it until Nenagh. The average speed was in excess of 17mph.
During the week we will be putting up the dates for the clubs duathlon series. These races will be held in Dromineer. Also, we will post the routes for the Saturday cycles for the next few weeks.
