Last weekend wasn’t quite the start of the cycling season we were expecting, but delaying the start until the Lacey Cup and focusing on a few club races is not a bad alternative; especially considering the quality of the club sessions we are putting in. I am sure everyone’s legs are probably as sore and tired as my own today. If they aren’t you either chickened out and didn’t come or you didn’t push hard enough!!
Winter Warrior Race 3 – for those that missed the race report you can read it >> here . There is a video of some of Seáníns on the stallions Facebook page. I don’t have access to it to put it up here. If anyone has photos then email them on to me.
- Monday – circuits at 7:00
- Tuesday – turbo at 7:15 in the complex
- Saturday – WW4 – last club race. New route – it will be only slightly longer and a little bit tougher. I will publish the route later in the week. After next week, our Saturday spins will revert back to normal = less intense = more suitable for the leisure / inexperienced cyclists in our club. We know these club races don’t suit everyone but they are just used to get our team up to speed for the start of the season.
- Sunday – lake cycle at 8:00am
Gear: final order for the season will be sent in by the end of the week. If you haven’t told Kenneth by then that is your problem. Think ahead!
