Nenagh 5km Run Series: Run 4 Results

32 runners took to the start line for the 4th run of our 5km summer run series. The weather conditions today were pretty hot and humid which made it a pretty tough day. In saying that, many people continue to see their 5km PBs falling. Well done for putting in the effort. Give yourself a well deserved pat on the back!

This evenings 5km run was a simple time prediction task. Everyone started together and the winner was the person whose predicted time was closest to their actual time. As this is the 4th week, most of the runners had a good idea of what time they were capable of doing. This meant that it was always going to be close at the top. In the end, there was a four way tie for 1st place! Cathal Donovan, Mike Cunningham, Ger Carey and Barry Creamer all predicted a time within 3 seconds of their actual time.

Next up – Run 5 will take place next weekthis is the final run of the summer 5km series and your last attempt to lower your PB! Next week, we will be doing the ‘Countdown To Zero‘ run again, where the slower runners go first and the faster runners go last. This typically means everyone crosses the finish line very close to each other.
