That was a superb weekend to finish off our 2015 season. 30 in total attended our End of Year activities and we also had a good turn out at the AGM. Thanks to everyone for making the effort to be there and thanks to Larkins pub for the food and use of their function room.
The various highs and lows of the season were discussed at our AGM. It was agreed that the triathlon side of the club needs to be focused on more in 2016 and a few new faces on the tri committee should help achieve this. There is also a renewed commitment to getting the North Tipp Sprint back up and running. We have some new plans for training which should make it easier for newbies in the club to get up to speed.
In terms of major achievements for the club in 2015 the highlights were the performances of Darren Dunne, our Rás na mBan team, our new Nenagh Youth Race, the Lough Derg Sprint, and the torture that was Mizen to Malin.
The club would like to wish our new committees all the best for next season.
