The club AGM and End of Year Swim take place on the same day some time in August or September – typically once the racing season for most has stopped. This year, it doesn’t feel right having it until after our ladies team have finished Rás na mBan. This would mean a late date of Saturday, September 19th for the AGM and swim. Do people think this is a suitable date? Will the water still be warm enough for a long distance swim? Is there still enough interest in having an End of Year Swim? Should we combine an End of Year Cycle option on the same day for those that don’t swim? Should we just hold the AGM separate from the End of Year activities and organise the swim/cycle for an earlier date?
Let committee members know what you think and we will decide early next week.
Looks like its gonna be a quiet weekend of racing….
The latest triathlon Super Series event takes place in Lough Neagh on Saturday; we might see Darren Dunne represent the club at this. There is also a triathlon in Spiddal which John Ryan and Barry Creamer liekly to be attending. The A3 Nationals are on this weekend up in Cong, so far just Kenneth has signed up for this one.
If you are not racing then join us for a spin on Saturday
