Record turn out: at our Wednesday evening swim, with 28 swimmers packed into 3 lanes. It is great to see such a large turn out. As usual, when we are squashed in together like sardines, all we could do was a sprint set. Although, getting the heart rate up is perfect for the race season that is approaching quickly.
Morning swims: It will be a late one again tomorrow morning. We do expect to be back to our normal starting time of 6:30am next week. Mikey ‘He-Man’ O’Dwyer is hopefully going to have the pool open for us in Keith’s absence.
Thursday TT: DON’T FORGET – this is on tomorrow April 11th. Meet at: 6:15 pool or 6:45 hospital.
Bike Racing Team: Sunday’s race is the AquaBlue Classic down in Minane Bridge in Cork. ‘Team bus’ leaving at 9:30 sharp. Let Shane know if you want a lift. This race will be a good test and it will help you get ready for the Visit Nenagh Classic the following week.
