After a few days break, I am sure everyone is keen to get back training. Plan for a big weekend and go out there and do it.
Training: the plan is to go around the lake on Saturday starting at the earlier time of 8:00am. There will be a split into two groups at Portumna, with a probable stop in Mountshannon.
Racing: its not quite a race, but a lot of club members are taking part in the Tour of the Burren on Saturday so best of luck to ye all at that.
Junior training: is not on – rest up for the big race on Sunday!!
Youth Race: our big race takes place on Sunday out in Toomevara. The race kicks off at 10:30 and should be finished between 12:00 and 1:00. Marshall should aim to be there early. It would be great if each club member could bring one item of food with them for the post race refreshments. Bring a hi vis jacket with you as well.
Training: a few club members are planning to meet up for a long-ish spin, after the youth race in the afternoon – 2:00pm at the hotel. Everyone is welcome to tag along.
Kilkee accommodation: is booked and paid for, so it’s time to pay up. Payment can be made to Majella at the youth race on Sunday.
Triathlon: with Kilkee just over one week away, most of our triathletes are resting up at the moment so we expect it to be a quiet weekend on the racing front.
