Nenagh CC Juniors: there will be no training this Saturday. For older juniors, you are invited to tag along for half the club cycle but to take it easy, as you are racing on Sunday and we expect to see you all performing your best.

Sunday Cycle: group will meet in Tesco car park at 8:00am, for usual lake cycle. However, this week we intend to extend route in preparation for Mizen to Malin. So when group come into Killaloe, we will continue cycle into Limerick before turning back for Nenagh, 97mls.

Sunday Swim: it’s that time of year again, for brave souls to dive into the open water off Youghal Quay. We will be meeting up for a short swim at 6:00pm in Youghal. According to Eddie O’Meara, who has already being practising his open water swimming, has said temperature of water is ‘fine’.

Weekend Racing: yet again there isn’t a local triathlon race for our club members to compete in this weekend. So can I be cheeky and say, we will be expecting big numbers down in Dromineer on Wednesday evening for the club duathlon.

Senior men, women and juniors will be heading to Newcastle West on Sunday to compete in ‘An Caislean Nua Classic’ race. Any junior wanting to go, if you have not already organised a lift, you will have to organise your own or arrange for another car to travel to race.  Best of luck to you all. A race report from either the men, women and not excluding juniors would be welcome….along with photos.
