Big weekend of cycling ahead!
The first race of the season takes place this Saturday up in Monasterevin. Racing will then continue pretty much every Sunday for the next 5 – 6 months. If you haven’t figured out your racing plan for the year yet then it’s about time you planned something. We want to see plenty of black and white shirts on the start lines over the next few weeks so get in shape and get out racing. Stop thinking – ‘I would love to do that’ – just go out and do it.
Saturday Club Cycle: It feels like a long time since we cycled one of our regular routes. This Saturday we will be back on the Nenagh – Roscrea – Templemore – Borrisoleigh – Templederry route. The usual interval work will be included. Try and make this session even if you are racing on Sunday. Older juniors should come along too.
If you have signed up for Mizen to Malin then use the weekend cycles to get good miles in your legs.
Sunday Club Cycle: there will still be a club cycle on Sunday morning. Meet at Tescos at 8:00am. The route will be decided that morning.
Sunday Racing: best of luck to those that are starting their racing early up in Monasterevin. It will be good to get back into the swing of things and with a bit of luck ye might bring home some points for the club. We look forward to reading a race report on Monday!
