Today’s Training: Dromineer Triathlon Race 2
This evening’s race will start between 6:30 and 7:00pm. The faster lads should aim to leave closer to 7:00 so as to give others a headstart. If you want a headstart then arrive and start early. If somebody owned a kayak and wanted to supervise the swim then that would be great. If anyone can’t do it then come out and help with timing and photos. As always there are tea and biscuits available after the race. Triathlon Ireland members from outside the club are more than welcome to join us.
Weather for this evening will be perfect – warm & sunny + wind is very light from the south = lake will be like glass.
Racing Results: Cork Cycling Championship in Fermoy – the club had two representatives at this race yesterday evening. It was a very successful day for the club once again with Graham Prendergast continuing is fine form. Graham won the A4 race and has now gained promotion up to the A3 division. Great stuff Graham!! Alan Loftus was also racing but punctured out of the A1/A2 race on the final lap.
