Club Notes

Track Session: There was a good turn out for our first track session of the week yesterday. We hope everyone is still able to walk today! It is still not bright for the full session yet so we will just have to run in the dark for 1 or 2 more weeks. Beginner runners should try to get out running a few times during the week, but you have club permission to take a rest day today if you want! The next session you should target is our:

Beginner Run: now starts at 6:30pm from Tescos. This is a slow-paced run that is suitable for beginners only.

Turbo tonight! we are into our final month of turbo before we head out onto the roads for the Limerick and Nenagh Summer Leagues. We are focusing on faster stuff for the month, so if that is an area you lack in your weekly training then come and join us.

Junior Cycling: the older juniors will once again be out on the road this Thursday after school at 4:30pm starting from the CBS. We will be out for an hour or so. If it is cold then make sure to bring gloves and wrap up warm.

Senior Cycling: A few action shots from the weekend.

Eoin Woolley pushing for 2nd after being led out by Hugh Flannery.

Con Kennedy. This hill is easy!

I think it’s just a mirage. That couldn’t be Darren Dunne on a bike.

Andy ‘I hate cycling’ McLoughlin                     Where’s the bloody finishing line!!

Cycling with your eyes closed doesn’t make it any easier Sinnead!
