Eleven cyclists left Nenagh on Saturday and headed for Toomevara on to Dolla and then the Silvermines. All was pleasant, warm and dry. Some had to head back at the Dublin road, while the rest headed on as the weather disapproved. Rain towards the end of cycle meant jackets and a bit of hardship, but everyone finished well. At the stop in Dolla we agreed that the one thing that we are all good at is giving advice on cycling (even though most of us are making it up as it goes along) and with the time of the year that’s in it, maybe you’d like to have a look at how a professional gives a bike a proper clean in fifteen minutes – take note all those with gruppy bikes!
